Five from Odisha called for East Zone U-16 cricket camp

Altogether 25 players, including five from Odisha, have been shortlisted for the Zonal Cricket Academy (ZCA) U-16 Boys’ East Zone Camp, scheduled to be held at JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi from May 22 to June 15, 2017. The five Odisha players are: Manas Ranjan Nayak, Saswat Mohanty, Nitish Niranjan Samantray, Sibasis Sahoo and Suman Das.

The 25 players were selected in a meeting of the East Zone Committee, convened by Jharkhand State Cricket Association at Jamshedpur today. Subrat Behera attended the meeting on behalf of Odisha Cricket Association.

From Tripura: Sibajyoti Debbarma, Sridam Paul, Subham Sutradhar, Parvez Sultan, Sahil Sultan.
From Bengal: Diganta Neogi, Ayush Pandey, Prayas Roy Burman, Karan Lal, Srijan Maity.
From Jharkhand: Harshit Namdev, Subhojeet Halder, Manishi, Sushant Mishra, Sahil Raj.
From Odisha: Manas Ranjan Nayak, Saswat Mohanty, Nitish Niranjan Samantray, Sibasis Sahoo, Suman Das.
From Assam: Nihar Deka, Danish Das, Atul Kumar, Pritish Raha Roy, Bichal Basfore.
Stand-byes: Rajib Hussain (Tripura), Anish Biswas (Bengal), Sashank Rungta (Odisha), Suraj Kumar, Ankit Kumar (both Jharkhand).
